Welcome to One Dollar Stories (“the Website”). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

One Dollar Stories is a digital marketplace where writers can submit and sell short stories for $1, and readers can purchase and enjoy them.

• Users may browse the Website without creating an account.
• To sell or purchase stories, users must register an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating our policies.

• Each story is priced at $1.00 unless otherwise stated.
• Purchases are final and non-refundable unless a technical issue prevents access to the content.
• Stories are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.

• Writers retain full copyright ownership of their stories.
• By submitting a story, you grant One Dollar Stories the right to distribute and sell it on the platform.
• Writers earn 50% of each sale ($0.50 per $1 sale), while the platform retains 50% ($0.50) for operational costs.
• Payments to writers will be made via  PayPal, Venmo or direct deposit], with a minimum payout threshold of $50.  Paid on a monthly basis.

Writers agree to submit only original work that:

• They own and have the right to sell.
• Does not infringe copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
• Does not contain hate speech, extreme violence, or illegal content.
• Does not include AI-generated content without disclosure.
  Failure to comply may result in removal of content and account suspension.

• Writers retain full ownership of their stories.
• One Dollar Stories has a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and sell submitted content.
• Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute purchased content without permission from the original author.

• Payments for purchases are processed securely through GoDaddy.
• Writers’ earnings are paid out on a monthly basis.
• We reserve the right to update pricing, fees, and payment policies with notice.

• Due to the digital nature of our product, all sales are final.
• Refunds will only be issued in cases of technical failure preventing access to purchased content.

• Users must respect others and refrain from harassment or spamming.
• Abusive behavior or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or termination.
• Writers may not manipulate reviews or artificially inflate rankings.

• The Website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not responsible for the content submitted by writers.
• We do not guarantee the success of any story or the volume of sales.

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
• Users will be notified of significant updates.
